Roll-out-of-bed brunch look

nyc lookOn the weekends, I am all about dressing in the most comfortable and lazy way possible. Actually, that’s me everyday. I guarantee this look is easier than figuring out where to eat brunch.

I’m going to be honest, I don’t wear skirts. If I do, the stars and the moon have probably aligned in just the right way. The last time I wore this one was about 2 years ago. So crazy! I kept it in the back of my closet because I figured for something so classic, it’s worth keeping. You know, “just in case” I ever give up wearing jeans.

And because I really wanted to wear this t-shirt and stay cool in the heat (my denim shorts were in the wash), this outfit happened. I actually really like how it turned out.

So if you need a roll-out-of bed brunch look…just keep the t-shirt you slept in, tuck it into the skirt that’s in the back of your closet, and wear your comfiest sneakers.
