If you’re going on a picnic, it probably means you enjoy the finer things in life. Like eating lots of bread and cheese (dairy free for me), sipping on water (wine), and watching people (dogs) do outdoor things. And if this is all true, then you definitely don’t want to feel uncomfortable in your clothes, especially as you dive into carb heaven. Here’s what I wore to indulge comfortably this weekend…
Outfit #1: Gingham Button Down + Denim Shorts + Flats
Shirt from J.Crew Men’s ($98 but currently 20% with code: SUMMER) // Denim Shorts from Reformation ($98, currently sold out but you can get on their waitlist) and similar version with a bit more butt coverage also from Reformation ($98) // Flats from Repetto ($295) but I also used to own and love this Sam Edelman version ($100)
What I indulged in: Shake Shack
Outfit #2: White Button Down + Denim Shorts + Slides
Similar ($119) 100% cotton and this linen version from reformation ($98) // Same Reformation denim shorts // Sam Edelman Slides ($80) I’ve been wearing these nonstop because they are so easy and comfortable
What I indulged in: carbs and more carbs with a side of pickles
Bonus Outfit: A billowy dress + slip on sneakers + Sunglasses
Dress from Madewell ($118) featured in this previous post // Sneakers from Vans ($50), I probably wear this too much but it’s just so reliable // Sunglasses from Karen Walker ($250), I got this last Fall during a Shopbop Sale…I like how they fit on my face and I’ve been wearing it everyday.
The weekend is only 3 days away! Hopefully this inspired your next picnic trip or made you want to take your lunch break outside.
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you in my next post!
Sophie
